STRING CHEESE!!!

Today I gave Teddy his first bite of string cheese! At first he really really wasn’t sure about it…

But, he wasn't done with it, still wanted to try it again and more in important to hold it!!

Watching him chew with "real" grown-up food. His little cheeks get all puffed up. 

He really likes it now, he ate the whole thing!

Not planned, but we drove down to Clinton, Utah today. Cameron's brother, Matt needed some help installing his sprinkler system so down we went! Another car-ride but that's okay, we get to see more family!! Matt's family hasn't seen Theo since March, he was A LOT smaller than. Theo had fun playing with his cousins, Lexie and Jessica. The boys went to a camp-out for the night. But he spent some time with his grandma Egan too! Glad we came down. 

48 WEEKS!!!!

48 weeks. It feels like I was just writing, we had made it to 45 weeks!! These last few weeks have really gone by super fast! We have been on the move the majority of it. 

Sadly, Cameron and my family left today to go back to Cali! It has been really fun and nice having Cameron here with us! We already miss him. it feels weird not having somebody here with us, there has only been a few days that somebody in my family hasn't been here with us in this new house. I was happy that Cameron and my mom were able to really spend some time with Theo. Well everyone else too. But I think since they stayed the longest, Theo really got to know them and was okay with them holding him even while Cameron and I were there! 

Teddy loves having "rasberries" blown on his belly. Well anywhere actually. 

Grandma and grandpa Hansen....too bad they have to leave but Cameron has a competition this Sat that they have to be back for. 

So when Theo was like 5/6 months old, it was hard to see that he really grew a ton, since it's so gradual and I see him everyday, but looking at these pictures, he is a little chunk now! So much bigger! Now it's hard to picture him small! I just love his baby chubs! I am sorry, but babies should be chubby, makes them that much cuter!! Why not be "chubby and cute" while he still can and be healthy? 

Theo loves to be tossed in the air and caught! It sure gives your arms a workout though that's for sure!1 Sorry we forgot to weigh him today. He doesn't feel like he has gained too much, I will remember next week.....especially since it's his birthday!!! CRAZY!!

Today I did my first maternity session for a few friends of ours. They are having a little girl! I think it went pretty well. I had some examples of poses that they could look at and that helped alot! Made it go smoother and not so posed!! I am pretty excited for them! We are hoping she comes a little early and shares her birthday with Theodore!! We shall see! ;) 
So Cameron and I look over and see Teddy stuck underneath his walking toy! He was trying to crawl with it on top of him......it didn't work out that well. He is so funny sometimes.

Thebear is getting really fast with his walker. He practically runs with it! Until he runs into something and just tries to push it out of the way with the walker. 

Theo loves having something in his hands. Especially another pinky! He still crawls with things in his hands. 

I really love when Theo puts his head down, so cute. & it's a sign for us that he is tired. Maybe not sleepy but at least tired. Although, sometimes he just puts his head down just for a second and then gets right back up and is on the move! 

SOOOOO SLEEPY!!!!!

So completly utterly out of the blue, we had 2 hail storms this afternoon. It was amazing actually! Both of them only lasted for about 10 minutes maybe but it was so loud....Teddy wasn't too fond of it, got a little scared. 

It wasn't just little bits of hail either....sizes of marbles! 

 We all know by now that Theo is NOT the best nap-er! He gets that nice trait from me! Out of all my traits he gets that one, of course! Well so today, Teddy only took a morning nap for 30 minutes, no evening nap at all! & that made Theo EXTRA EXTRA sleepy! It was pretty cute though, how tired he was. We were sitting at the table eating dinner, and after he ate, he was falling asleep in his chair! 

 Rubbing his eyes and all.....

& then he finally did it. He fell asleep. He kept nodding back and forth. I am sorry, but it was the cutest thing!!! 

Even holding him sitting up, he kept nodding off. But after a few minutes to make a bottle, he got a second wind and was wide awake again! 
Sadly, it was Cameron's last night with us. Family will be coming in the morning to drive back to Cali. It really has been fun having him here, he has helped with Theo and played with him. Helped clean stuff too! We will def miss having him here! Don't realize you miss people til you spend time with them and then have to say bye. At least, he got to see the hail storm today. It was pretty remarkable. SO random and out of the blue. He was amazed by it! 
I know that Theodore will love and look up to his Uncle Cameron.

It did take us a while to get Teddy to go to bed....surprisingly! But he finally couldn't fight it any longer and was wiped out!

DESTROY THE TOWERS!!

I bought some blocks for my photography maternity session on this Thursday. 

We played with Teddy with them! He had fun! Still loves to put both hands in the air! Like he just scored a goal from knocking over the towers.

Best part is with his tongue out each time!!!!

MORE TONGUE.......

He tried eating them a few times....no surprise there....like really if I get surprise from Theo trying to eat something, I have not been paying very good attention!!

Boy, what is with the tongue???? I have enough of your drool already, no need for slobber too.......

Thebear hasn't figured out that you can build towers yet, just loves to knock them over! So if we don't build it he just bangs them together!

YAY.....I FOUND A SIPPY CUP....FINALLY!!!

After about buying and returning about 10 different sippy cups, I finally found one that he drank out of today!!! SERIOUSLY....wahoo!!! Up til now it's been either the bottle or our "big kids" cups! It will help with the spillings of 500 spills of drinks to this boy!!!  

See, success......knock on wood......Even a smile with it!!!!

Now, I'm not sure why but Teddy has been sticking his tongue out constantly today! I have no idea why, but it's not like just a little tongue, it's the whole thing like all the way to his chin!!!

& the sippy cup has Lighting Mcqueen on it! I love that smile!! I could stare at that face all day every day!!!

HOME WE GO.......AGAIN!!!!

Well, again, not a good night’s sleep….sadly!! Thankfully, he won't have to sleep in a tent again, we are heading back home today. I am sad to leave the family but it will be good to get a good nights sleep, not just for me but for Theo as well. He hasn't taken very good naps or hasn't gotten as many hours as he usually does, so it will be nice to have him in his crib!!!!
We went to Old Faithful this morning. It is pretty remarkable geyser! I have seen it multiply times but it is still pretty cool!! & not to mention Theodore thought it was too! It was hard to get him to take a picture while it was going off! He was fascinated with it!!

The hike was only a few miles down the road and Theo already fell asleep, he has had a long, almost sleepless few days. However, he didn't sleep that long. Only about 2 & 1/2 miles in. However, he does look pretty comfy and knocked out! I have always liked watching him sleep, wondering what he is dreaming about, and admiring his sweet face. 

So this was the waterfall at the end of the hike. We didn't stay long, Teddy was hungry and hot and didn't want to be in the stroller any longer, he wanted to be held. So on the way back, I pushed an empty stroller and Grandpa Hansen carried him majority of the way back. 

We finally finished the hike, it was harder than we thought, with a stroller in the sand. & with a tired baby.....not an easy 5.2 mile hike!! 
We drove home, dropped Heidi off in Rexburg and Cameron came home with us to spend the last few days with us....well really wanted to spend time with his adorable nephew, which I am all for, especially since these 2 are so good together! Cameron plays with him and Teddy really has fun with him!! It will be nice having him with us!! 

I know traveling is fun and don't get me wrong going on all these trips has been fun......but being in the car for all of these trips is killing me!! I have felt like all I have done is been in the car for the last month! & again don't get me wrong, I actually kinda like driving but we have done it toooo much, NO more for me for awhile...please!! This trip was fun, but Theodore & I miss our Cameron!! It is nice to be home with our Cam Bam!!

TEDDY'S FIRST HIKE!!!

So apparently my fingers were not crossed hard enough!! Theo did not sleep well at all! He fell asleep really well, but then after about 2 hours he woke up over and over again and couldn't get comfy. He loves to wiggle in his sleep, so being in the sleeping bag, was not what he had in mind! Teddy tried getting out countless times. I would have let him get out, but it was freezing and that would have been worse....so a bad night's sleep was the alternative. He woke up at 5:30am! Theo hasn't woken up that early in prob at least 6 months!! Theo is not fond of sleeping on the ground in a tent! SO since we were up, and no chance of Theo going back to sleep in the tent, we went out with the fam for the early search of animals....really on for bears. We didn't see any bears but we did see some pretty landscapes! 

Thankfully, not too late in the morning, Teddy decided he was tired and took a nap. He was quit comfy with a banana in one hand and his bottle in the other! I love this boy, always can make me smile!

& we did see some dear.

& a few marmots playing and wrestling. 

We went on a hike today. Teddy's first. It went okay, my parents bought him a backpack carrier thing since his old one is too small, and well so was this one!! We even had to tie a rope to one of the sides to make it larger to fit over Theo's small big hips! 
The hike was pretty, some of it was covered in sunflowers.

Our stopping point. The hike went farther, but we had our lunch here and headed back! 

Cameron carried Teddy most of the way there and all the way back! 

Theo was exhausted. It was late afternoon, time for nap! 

Of course have to get family pictures. & dad is taking the pictures again! Teddy didn't sleep long, only about 30 minutes but I have learned to take what I can get! 

We drove up to Mammoth. & walked along the boardwalks of the hot spot things. They are interesting things of nature, I'll give them that. & man can they stink!!! Julie and Teddy, he is getting better!

My parents, again, I am the only one that usually gets my dad in some pictures! I am a great daughter! 

 Theo and I, we have had some fun! I am glad we were able to come, however, we do miss daddy!!! We will have to come again this summer with him and get some full family pictures!

We drove back to camp, made dinner and made a fire then went to bed. Hopefully, tonight will be better! PLEASE!! We both should be exhausted, so sleep is what is needed for exhaustion right? SO let's get some. We shall see.....

THEBEAR'S FIRST CAMPING TRIP TO YELLOWSTONE!!!

Today, Teddy and I drove up to Yellowstone National Park to camp with my family. Sadly, Cameron couldn't come because he has drill this whole weekend...bummer! I am sad that he can't come, and a little nervous  Teddy has gotten quit attached to his daddy! I'm sure it will go fine....right?

We stopped in Rexburg for a quicky picky up my mom and finish the drive up. We meet the rest of the family in Canyon. Teddy was having a lot of fun on their world, it had water on it, so at first he really didn't know what to think but after a few times of touching it, he was hooked!!! 

So being a newby at this whole mommy thing, I had a new mommy moment. Knowing that Theo loves stuffys I handed him one just to make the "bear noise" to see his reaction.....little did I know, that we would not be able to pry it from his hands after!! Being nice grandparents, they bought the bear for him. If that smile isn't "thanks" enough I don't know what it is! He didn't let go of it for hours!! Def now one of his favorite toys!!

We set up camp at Bridge Bay. One of my favorites because it is right next to the lake and is so pretty! Well it was one of my favorites until the mosquitoes decided we tasted good! Later in the evening, after dinner, we took a walk down to the lake. Teddy and Grandpa Hansen.....

Teddy really is getting used to having the rest of his family around! We will both be sad when they have to go home to California next week! Grandpa Hansen makes funny faces at Teddy, which of course he thinks is hilarious!

Heidi and Tedster. He is still trying to get used to Heidi, hasn't spend alot of time being held by her. He didn't do too bad though.

Honestly, I think this is the first time since having Teddy that I am in pictures without him! It felt weird! But Julie and I haven't taken any for a long while, so it was nice! 

My unique fam bam! (minus a few!) It was so pretty! I would love to live by a lake! 

When we got back we played some games. & well Theo was playing with a water bottle. So I thought that he wanted some...well look, he looks like he wanted some.....well I did give him some but 80% of it got on his shirt! Prob why someone invented the sippy cup....too bad Theodore isn't fond of them! I guess one less thing to "wean" him off!

Teddy and Grandma Hansen, since she stayed with us for a few days, Teddy really has gotten to know her. Lately, it really has been more fun for Thebear to play with his baby food then eat it. He was having putting it in and out of the cup holder...again with the cup holder.

Teddy and I had our own tent, so I put him down in the tent and the first thing he does is crawl to all 4 corners. Guess he wasn't exactly sure what to think. Let's see how his sleep goes, fingers are crossed for at least a full 8 hours!!
